Kimbia is a training journal for runners and cyclists. The service is provided by the operator listed in the imprint.
Access is via your atproto handle (your public identifier as a domain, e.g. alice.bsky.social). You must be at least 14, or have parental authorisation, to use Kimbia. You are responsible for the security of your credentials.
You agree not to: abuse the service or attempt to make it unavailable, circumvent technical limits, or harass other users. Imports must be your own data - either your activity files or the official OAuth integration with a service you control. atproto being decentralised, there are no single shared community rules: if you use a separate atproto PDS (such as kimbia.social or another), that PDS's terms also apply.
You retain ownership of your training data. You grant us the strictly necessary licence to store, display, and process it as part of the service you use. You can export or delete it at any time. If Kimbia ever shuts down, we give at least 90 days notice and keep export available throughout.
When you connect Garmin, Wahoo, Coros, or a similar service, you also accept those third parties' terms and privacy policies. You can revoke a connection at any time from your account.
When you share data with a coach, the coach is a separate controller for the data they view in Kimbia. You can revoke their access at any time; that access also ends immediately when you delete your account.
Kimbia is a planning and analysis tool, not a medical device. Before starting a training programme, get advice from a healthcare professional - especially if you have cardiac history, a recent injury, are pregnant, have a chronic condition, or simply have any doubt. The zones, plans, and statistics shown are not medical advice. You train at your own risk.
The service is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of, or unavailability of, the service. Your consumer rights still apply.
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or remove an account that breaches these terms, after reasonable notice where possible.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email (if you provided one) or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you object, you can close your account and export your data within that window.
These terms are governed by Austrian law. The competent courts are those of Vienna, subject to mandatory consumer-protection provisions.
